    Steven Taylor has got a new job.

    The former Newcastle United defender has been appointed as boss of Al Qabila FC.

    He is actually the first ever manager of what is a new UAE side.

    Now aged 38, Steven Taylor will take charge of Al Qabila FC as they begin life in the UAE Pro League next season.

    Awarded a new UAE franchise, Al Qabila have gone viral on social media.

    Described as a project to ‘build a football club in 365 days’…

    They have been founded by Daniyal Sheikh and Soheil Varahram, the latter be a player for the team.

    They are said to be ‘building the club from the ground up’ and had been looking for a manager.

    Steven Taylor has made a bit of a name for himself in Dubai, having led Gulf United to back-to-back promotions, taking that club into the second tier of football over in Dubai.
