Man City and England star considering Saudi move | Shoot

Manchester City continue the defence of their Premier League crown when they welcome Wolves to The Etihad on Saturday.

The Citizens, who won the treble last term, currently sit a point behind leaders Arsenal but could find themselves four points adrift if the Gunners beat Bournemouth in the early kick-off on Saturday.

City do, however, have a game-in-hand over Arsenal, and manager Pep Guardiola will therefore be hopeful that his side can win a record fourth consecutive Premier League title.

Despite failing to retain the Champions League this season, City could still defend their FA Cup and Premier League crowns, and Guardiola will expect to see his side pick up all three points against Wolves on Saturday.

In the meantime, though, it has emerged that one of City’s key players is considering a future away from the club.

According to The Sun, full-back Kyle Walker is considering a move to Saudi Arabia.

Walker is one of City’s most important players

The report claims that Walker, 33, has sought advice from former City teammate Riyad Mahrez about relocating to the Middle East.

Mahrez joined Al-Ahli last summer and is said to currently earn a staggering £45 million annually, and the report suggests that Walker could expect similar if he were to move to the Pro League.

Walker joined City from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017 and has since made 296 appearances for City across all competitions.

He has won no fewer than 16 trophies during his time at The Etihad, including five Premier League titles and the Champions League.

The England international is currently contracted to City until the end of the 2025/26 season and, although he is said to be happy at the club at present, he is also believed to be considering options for the future.
