German state may allow fans in Bundesliga stadiums from September

    « Back

The German state of Saxony will relax their public gathering measures amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic which could see fans return to Bundesliga stadiums in September, according to Bild.

From July 18, festivals will be allowed and from September 1, more than 1,000 people will be able to gather with no upper limit, as long as tracing measures are in place.

This of course means that RB Leipzig fans could be allowed back in their stadium from September, as long as they reach an agreement with the DFB and all other participants.
