    Brian Brobbey on target for Ajax in heavy win over FC Volendam

    Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Brian Brobbey put up an impressive performance to help Ajax secure an important away victory against FC Volendam on Sunday.

    The 22-year-old attacker lasted 81 minutes as his outfit cruised to a 4-1 win over their opponent at the Kras Stadion to bounce back to winning ways.

    Brobbey has proven to be an important player for the Dutch giants, scoring numerous goals for the club in the ongoing campaign.

    Ajax opened the floodgate after 25 minutes into the game through Dutch international Kenneth Taylor as the visitors went to the halftime break with the advantage.

    Putting on a stellar performance, Ajax made light work of Volendam after scoring three more goals in the second half to secure maximum points in the game.

    England international Chuba Akpom scored in the 59th minute to extend his side lead in the game before the Ghanaian forward added his side third goal of the match in the 70th minute.

    Seven minutes later, Kenneth Taylor found the back of the net to complete his brace in the game.

    The home team managed to pull one back in the 80th minute mark through Benaissa Benamar as the game ended 4-1 in favour of Ajax.

    Brobbey has been Ajax main man this season, scoring 17 goals and providing 9 assists in 27 games in the Dutch Eredivisie.
