West Ham transfer news
In this article we will bring you all of today’s West Ham transfer news. Make sure to check back to the site for more daily transfer updates throughout the summer.
Bayern midfielder linked
Reports stemming from Germany have credited West Ham with an interest in Bayern Munich midfielder, Corentin Tolisso.
Tolisso signed for Bayern in 2017 but has never really set the world alight in Bavaria.
He would also spend much of 2020/21 out injured, and in the 16 league games he did play last term, he managed to complete 90 minutes just once.
Now, HITC citing German outlet Sport1 report that Tolisso has been ‘talked about’ at West Ham.
No potential fee is mentioned in the report, but it is hard to see Bayern demanding that much for a fringe player.
Flavius Daniliuc eyed
Elsewhere, West Ham have been linked with another central defender.
Flavius Daniliuc is a 20-year-old centre-back who is currently plying his trade in France with OGC Nice, who he made 26 appearances for last term.
Daniliuc has had a fairly illustrious youth career, playing in both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich’s youth ranks.
And now, the Daily Mail report that both West Ham and Southampton have Daniliuc on their radars. But no potential transfer sum is mentioned in the report.
Zouma update
Finally, ExWHUemployee, known as a pretty reliable source of news when it comes to the Hammers, has provided an update on the Kurt Zouma situation.
In terms of an actual transfer fee, Ex reports that Chelsea and West Ham are around 5 million pounds apart on a valuation currently.
He adds that personal terms between Zouma and West ham ‘did get a bit closer’ recently.
