Yaw Yeboah will fly to Tokyo but not to the Olympics

Yaw Yeboah is to be given an extraordinary honor. The player of Wisla Krakow is in the Olympic team of Ghana and will fly with it to Japan. But fortunately for his club, not for the Tokyo Olympics.

Ghana’s national team did not qualify for the soccer tournament at the Tokyo Olympics. Against this background, however, we want to check the hosts from Japan and invite the team from Africa to her place. As befits Olympic teams, players under 23 will take part in them, but at the Olympics it is permissible for each coach to appoint three older players.

Ghana intends to do likewise, despite the fact that U-23 will only play friendly against Japan. Therefore, 24-year-old Yaw Yeboah from Wisla Krakow and 25-year-old Yisf Mubarik were included in her team for the trip to the Land of the Rising Sun. The Ghanaians will face the Japanese twice, on June 4 and 8.

Fortunately for Wisla, the Ghana team will not play at the Olympics, because then the White Star player would be unavailable throughout the preparations and the first few rounds of the season. The departure of the footballer, however, is not in the interest of the club from Reymont. If Yeboah did fly to Japan, he would lose a significant portion of his inter-season leave. Let us remind you that the current season will end on May 16, and the next one will begin on July 23. It will be preceded by about monthly preparations.

Yaw Yeboah is one of the most important players for Wisla. His game in the ending season brought a lot of revival to the weak offensive of the team from Krakow. The Ghanaian is able to pass his opponent’s speed with one unconventional feint and make a “difference” in attack. His absence would be a serious problem for the club team.

It is also worth adding that Wisła has just changed their coach. The German coach Peter Hyballa, along with all his staff, said goodbye to the team before the last round. His successor has not yet been elected.
