Women’s Season Ticket sales soar after Lionesses’ success

Southampton FC Women have seen an unprecedented uptake of Season Tickets following the Lionesses’ victory against Germany on Sunday.

With the record-breaking UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 putting Women’s football on a new platform, more people than ever are taking up the opportunity to enjoy high-quality domestic football.

Saints make the step up to the Barclays Women’s Championship with their debut game against Charlton Athletic set for Saturday 20th August and since Sunday’s Lionesses win the club has seen a 45% increase in Season Ticket sales, already eclipsing last season’s total sales.

St Mary’s is set to play host to all of Saints’ home league games, with Vitality Women’s FA Cup and Continental League Cup football also planned for the SO14 stage, which could see Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s team take on Women’s Super League opposition.

With that in mind, there’s no better time to secure your seat at St Mary’s to witness Saints make history in their debut Barclays Women’s Championship season.
