Women’s Championship opener receives new kick-off time

The club can confirm that Southampton FC Women’s opening fixture against Charlton Athletic at St Mary’s will kick-off at the earlier time of 12:30pm.

Saints will kick off their debut Barclays Women’s Championship season at St Mary’s on Saturday 20th August at the earlier time of 12:30pm.

For any Saints fans who won’t be able to cheer on the Women in person on Saturday 20th August, the match will be streamed live on the FA Player, with all Barclays Women’s Championship games staggered throughout the weekend to allow supporters to enjoy more football.

With the season kick-off less than a month away, Women’s Season Tickets have seen an unprecedented take-up with Saints fans looking to support Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s side in their first campaign in the second tier.

Women’s Season Tickets are on sale now, with prices at £50 for Adults and £10 for U18s, allowing fans to enjoy all home league games, as well as giving priority for the purchase of home cup matches.
