‘We will come back stronger’ Walker sends Liverpool title warning

Kyle Walker has paid tribute to Liverpool following their Premier League victory but warned that Manchester City will be desperate to reclaim their crown.

Kyle Walker was ‘hurt’ to see Liverpool crowned champions but insists his side are more than fueled to reclaim their status as champions of England.

The Reds have been relentless in their pursuit of the top flight title having lost out last term by a solitary point.

City have struggled to reach the levels of recent years which has allowed Liverpool to win the league unopposed.

Their 2-1 defeat at Chelsea saw Pep Guardiola’s side finally surrender their title and Walker concedes it “hurt” to watch the Reds celebrate their success.

He tweeted : “Last night hurt but full respect and congratulations to @LFC on winning the @premierleague title. It’s a great feeling lifting that trophy and next year we will come back stronger and determined to win it back.”
