    Who’s Playing

    Southampton @ Norwich City

Current Records: Southampton 10-15-4; Norwich City 5-18-6

    What to Know

It’s been a long time, but the Premier League is finally back in business. Southampton and Norwich City will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 1 p.m. ET on Friday at Carrow Road. Southampton needs to shore up a defense that is allowing 1.79 goals per matchup.

Three months ago, Southampton fell a goal short of Newcastle United, losing 1-0.

Norwich lost a heartbreaker to Sheffield United when they met last December, and they left with a heavy heart again three months ago. The Canaries lost 1-0 to Sheffield.

Having both suffered close losses, these teams will no doubt be fighting for every inch to win this one. It will be interesting to see how the teams fare in the rest of the season given the unusual circumstances.
