Waldemar Anton nears Stuttgart transfer

    « Back

According to Stuttgarter Nachrichten, Bundesliga returnees VfB Stuttgart have reached an agreement in place with Hannover 96 defender Waldemar Anton.

All that remains is for the two clubs to agree on a transfer fee, which is reported to be around €5 million, significantly less than 2. Bundesliga side Hannover 96 had imagined.

Anton, who was statistically one of the best performances in the 2. Bundesliga last season, does not want to play second tier football again.
