VIDEO: Watch Erik Lamela score stunning solo goal in Spurs friendly

Tottenham took a giant step towards returning to Premier League action on Friday when they played an in-house friendly at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Jose Mourinho split his squad up into two teams – with the whole squad besides Paulo Gazzaniga, Davinson Sanchez, Japhet Tanganga and Giovani Lo Celso featuring in the game.

Going by the highlights reel that was released from Spurs’ YouTube channel, it appeared that the game finished 1-1 – Dele Alli cancelling out Tanguy Ndombele’s powerful strike.

However, Erik Lamela’s Instagram post suggests that the scoring wasn’t done there.

The Argentine uploaded a video onto his story of himself netting a wonderful solo run and finish last Hugo Lloris.
