Tottenham are interested in signing Nottingham Forest right-back Djed Spence, according to Sky Sports.
With Spurs hoping to sell Matt Doherty before the window closes on Monday week, Antonio Conte is hoping to sign another right-back to compete with Emerson Royal.
Adama Traore has been strongly linked with a move to Tottenham, but Sky Sports believe that Conte is eyeing up a move for Spence, who’s on loan at Forest from Middlesbrough.
The report says that Spurs have been tracking the full-back for a number of seasons, and are considering making a move before the end of the window.
Spence was a regular at Boro last term, but was still loaned out to Forest for the campaign, where he’s made 23 appearances in all competitions. The 21-year-old particularly impressed in Forest’s shock third-round FA Cup victory over Arsenal earlier this month, with his general form clearly attracting the attention of the Tottenham hierarchy.
