Tottenham Hotspur interested in Yves Bissouma

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Yves Bissouma from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window, according to The Times. Aston Villa are also claimed to be keen on securing the services of the Mali international midfielder.

The Times have reported that both Tottenham and Villa bid for Brighton midfielder Bissouma in the January transfer window. The Villans’ offer was more than Tottenham’s, but the Seagulls did not sell one of their most prized assets.

Bissouma made 25 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Brighton this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process. The 25-year-old Mali international midfielder made 35 starts and one substitute in the league last season, scoring one goal in the process.
