The two players Spurs could offer in part-exchange for Newcastle star – report – TottenhamBlog.com

Tottenham are willing to offer Danny Rose and Juan Foyth in exchange for Newcastle United star Allan Saint-Maximin, according to the Daily Mail.

Saint-Maximin has impressed since joining Newcastle from Nice last summer. The winger produced a hat-trick of assists in a recent 4-1 victory over Bournemouth and is now being linked with a move away from St James’ Park.

The Mail claims Paris Saint-Germain are plotting a move for the 23-year-old, but Spurs are also said to be interested.

It is believed the Londoners could use Rose, who is currently on loan at Newcastle, and Foyth to tempt the Magpies into letting Saint-Maximin leave for north London in a players-plus-cash deal.

Rose doesn’t appear to have a future at Tottenham with Jose Mourinho barely using the left-back before he departed in January, while Foyth – sidelined with an injury at present – was also struggling for minutes earlier in the campaign.

If both players are eager to play regular first-team football next term, perhaps this deal has legs. Mourinho might be keen to freshen up his attack, which has looked disjointed since the Premier League’s restart, and Saint-Maximin would be a useful addition.
