It’s been a turmoil few days for football, and more aptly it’s been a turmoil few days for Chelsea Football Club.
In fact, this whole European Super League fiasco will go down as one of the craziest major events in the history of this sport, I mean, it even got the Prime Minister of the UK wading in and threatening action.

When you agitate the PM, you know you’ve got problems.
However, these ramblings are purely on the positives, and I simply want to tell you the most positive fact we have learned from all of this so far…. A fans voice DOES make a difference, no matter how big or small you think you might be, or how irrelevant you might feel you are.
Chelsea fans at Stamford Bridge DELAYED the kick off for a Premier League match, purely due to their protests. Whether those above or high officials will ever admit it, we all DID make a difference to spinning this thing on it’s head and getting Chelsea to pull out of it.
Every single fan made a difference, from writing a #NoToEuropeanSuperLeague hashtag on Twitter, to getting down to the Bridge on Tuesday night to voice your opinions – YOU made a difference.
Fan power is a thing, and fan power can make a difference. Of course, I’m not claiming that now every little thing we disagree with we need to protest and and the board will change their minds, because that is super unrealistic.
But when it is something so major as the European Super League literally trying to kill to sport as we know it, the sport we have all grown up playing, watching, and loving, then the fans can and DID make a massive difference to the outcome here.
Revel in the small fame we are getting as Chelsea fans right now, the first supporters who really went out and said NO to the European Super League and why not? Let’s go ahead with the narrative that we saved football, WHY NOT!? We literally made history this week, be proud, wherever you made a difference from.
