    Tanguy Kouassi agrees to join Bayern Munich

    According to Bild journalist Christian Falk, Paris Saint-Germain defender Tanguy Kouassi will join Bayern Munich on a free transfer in the summer. The 18-year-old centre-back has agreed a five-year deal with the Bundesliga club.

    Just this morning, Kouassi was “very interested” in an approach from Ligue 1 club Rennes after it was announced last week that he wouldn’t be signing an extension with PSG. The Frenchman had also courted interest from Bundesliga duo Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.

    Bayern Munich scouted Kouassi over a year ago with Marco Neppe taking a closer look at the youngster during the U17 European Championship last year. The Bundesliga leaders making their intentions known with an early transfer coup.
