The Juventus talisman is ready to get back into action after being left out of the crunch Serie A clash on the weekend.
Cristiano Ronaldo is available for Juventus’ upcoming Serie A outing against Parma, Andrea Pirlo has confirmed.
A reported flexor injury forced Ronaldo to miss the match against Atalanta on Sunday. Juventus stumbled in the absence of their star man, suffering a 1-0 defeat.
The Italian champions will be delighted to have the 34-year-old back in the squad, considering how poor they have performed in his absence this season.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, meanwhile, will be looking to make his case stronger for winning the Capocannoniere, currently sitting atop the goalscoring charts with a four-goal lead over Romelu Lukaku.
Speaking in Tuesday’s pre-match press conference, the Juventus boss updated on the availability of Ronaldo among other players.
Pirlo stated: “Cristiano will be available tomorrow, there will also [Gianluigi] Buffon and I also think [Paulo] Dybala because he needs to play to regain his condition. I was happy with his display on Sunday and tomorrow he can find continuity.
“[Federico] Chiesa has had a muscle problem, and we are going to assess him in the coming days. He’s been an important player for us this season, but it’s not the first time we are missing an important player, so we are going to replace him.”
