Revised Scottish Cup Quarter Final Draw

The revised Scottish Cup Quarter Final Draw has been made following the fourth round ties which were played out over the weekend.

It took place live on the Scottish Cup social media channels two weeks ago and was conducted by Nathan Evans, who rose to fame this year with his sea shanty hit ‘Wellerman’, alongside Clyde Superscoreboard’s Gordon Duncan.

Coronavirus restrictions mean the tournament has to squeezed into a tight time frame before the end of the season hence why the rounds are rapidly being played out.

Fourth round ties got underway on Friday night, with three teams sealing a place into the last eight of the competition.

St Mirren, Dundee United and Motherwell all got through by defeating lower league opposition.

Kilmarnock followed suit to join their Premiership rivals in the next round after dispatching Montrose.

St Johnstone saw off competition from Clyde to book their place in the quarter-final with a 2-0 victory.

Aberdeen came out victorious against Livingston on penalties before Hibernian and Rangers went through on Sunday afternoon.

Old Firm clash at Ibrox, Rangers beat Celtic 2-0 thanks to a spectacular Steven Davis effort and a Jonjoe Kenny own goal.
