Real Madrid Beat Man City at the Etihad
Zinedine Zidane and his Real Madrid players travel to the Etihad Stadium this week knowing that they have an uphill battle if they are to overturn their first leg deficit to eliminate Manchester City and reach the Champions League quarter-finals.
The coach has a clear plan in mind though and he knows that he’ll have to beat City where they’re at their best.
But Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers have shown that it’s no impossible.
The midlands club beat City at home already this season, thanks to the offensive power of Adama Traore and Raul Jimenez.
Wolves‘ approach consisted of aggressive pressing on the flanks, which left City on the ropes.
That same approach was followed soon after by Manchester United, which were the only two home Premier League defeats they suffered.
United also beat them at home in the League Cup.
