Champions League Fearsome attacks on both sides
Two of the Champions League final eight’s strong favourites have reached Sunday’s final in Lisbon.
Paris Saint-Germain with the explosive attacking duo of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in their starting line-up will face a team who have scored 42 goals in 10 Champions League games this season.
Bayern Munich can become the first team to win the tournament by coming out victorious from each of their games.
On the other hand, it is PSG who have spent more than 1.2 billion euros in recent years to finally reach the Champions League final.
Their current starting line-up’s cost exceeds the 700m euros in transfer fees.
Meanwhile, both teams are scoring machines as Bayern have netted 142 times in 44 games this season and PSG have scored 102 goals in 37 matches.
Neymar has managed 19 goals and Mbappe has 23 goals this season, while Robert Lewandowski has scored more than the two put together (49).
The Poland international has mustered 15 goals in the Champions League and if he scores another three, he will break the record Cristiano Ronaldo set in 2013/14.
The two teams have always played each other in the group stage and never in the knockouts.
PSG have won five times in which they scored 13 goals, while Bayern have managed three victories and 12 goals against the French side.
In his second season the club, Thomas Tuchel has managed to lead them all the way to the final against Bayern.
The Bavarians appointed Hans-Dieter Flick as an interim coach earlier this season and the German has managed to win both the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal so far.
