A Preston player has been filmed pooing and pissing on a car whilst laughing in a sick video uploaded to WhatsApp this summer.
The Championship footballer Brad Potts has apologised after footage of him defecating and urinating on a car emerged.
It shows him laughing his head off whilst crouching on top of the vehicle wearing a colourful shirt, white trainers and shorts pulled down.
The clip has been circulating around various social media and is said to have happened years before the midfielder joined his current club.
The 27 year old midfielder then defecates and urinates all over the windscreen while a laughing pal video records him doing it.
It is not known who the car belongs to, but a friend is heard saying: “As if you would do that on a car bonnet right now.”
It was shot at night and appeared to have been during one summer. The camera zooms into the player’s private parts before zooming out again, before the footballer then runs down and jumps off the vehicle.
After DailyStarSport approached the EFL outfit for a comment, a spokesperson subsequently confirmed it was Potts in the footage.
The player has apologised to the club for the “totally unacceptable” behaviour, and they have reminded him of player conduct expectations.
A Preston North End spokesperson said: “We have been made aware of a video of Brad Potts who is currently one of our players engaging in behaviour which is totally unacceptable.
“The incident took place some years ago before he signed for us, but nevertheless we unequivocally condemn the behaviour as shown in the video.
“We have spoken to Brad who is full of remorse and has apologised to the club and anyone else who has been affected by this incident.
“All of our players are expected to conduct themselves in an exemplary fashion and we will deal with the fallout from this internally. We will not be making any further comment.”
Potts joined Preston North End from Barnsley on the 3rd of January, 2019, and signed a three-and-a-half-year deal.
He played a total of 42 games in the 20/21 campaign, scoring five goals and helping the Lilywhites finish in 13th place.
According to fan site DeepdaleDigest, Potts was viewed by some fans as having a disappointing season and appeared to struggle for form and fitness.
This has got some questioning about whether he should be getting picked for matches, although they add his work rate is overlooked as some tweets on Twitter say.
However, on the same site some fans praised some of his performances, most notably a 3-0 victory over Middlesbrough at Deepdale back in December.
In February, Potts was asked if he gets unfair criticism.
He said to LancsLive: “I feel like sometimes I do yeah and it is frustrating. It’s just one of them isn’t it?
“It’s up to fans what they think at the end of the day, it’s their decision to make.
“Obviously today I feel like I proved what I can do so I probably just need to be more consistent with it to be honest.”
