    Odegaard wants Real Sociedad extension

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Martin Odegaard has let Real Sociedad know that he wants to extend his loan deal from Real Madrid so that it lasts through to next season.

When Odegaard first made his way over to the Spanish giants, the expectation was that he could become one of the best players in world football. After an underwhelming first few years with the club, Odegaard really did come into his own with Sociedad. He’s still young and has a lot of growing left to do, but this is the perfect platform for him to thrive.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, already have quite the squad at their disposal – and it wouldn’t be all too shocking to see them loan him out for a few more years, or potentially, even sell him to Sociedad on a permanent deal.

Either way, Odegaard’s future will be fascinating to watch.
