MLS Today: Previewing Philadelphia and Portland, and should MLS is Back become yearly event?

    It’s on to the MLS is Back Tournament semifinals tonight and MLS Today has you covered, taking you right up to the opening kick between the Philadelphia Union and Portland Timbers (8 pm ET | FS1, TUDN, FOX Deportes, UniMás; TSN, TVAS2).

    Starting at 7:30 pm ET on, Facebook and Twitter, hosts Susannah Collins, Calen Carr and Charlie Davies will break down all the big storylines ahead of Wednesday night’s match, including whether or not Diego Valeri is in the Timbers starting XI.

    Union coach Jim Curtin thinks the MLS is Back Tournament should be an annual season-opening event, but should it? Susannah, Calen and Charlie offer their takes.
