Milan have scheduled three friendlies for the start of next month – one against Monza, which will be played at San Siro.

Preparations for Milan ahead of the 2020-21 season started on August 25th, with the squad training at Milanello.

The first match of the season will take place on September 17, as the Diavolo are involved in the second round of the Europa League qualification stages.

The club has scheduled so far three pre-season games to test the fitness and preparation levels Stefano Pioli’s side, who was unbeaten in Serie A post Coronavirus-lockdown.

The first match will be against Novara at September 2 (17:00 CEST kickoff at Milanello); the second will be played against Silvio Berlusconi, Adriano Galliani and Christian Brocchi’s Monza – this game is scheduled for September 5 (20:45 CEST kickoff) and it will be played at Stadio San Siro; the third game will be against Vicenza on September 9 (17:00 CEST at Milanello).

In these friendlies, Pioli will be able to rely on Zlatan Ibrahimović. The Swede will return to Milano tomorrow and sign the contract extension; today he’s announced he’ll wear the #11 jersey next year.
