Midfielder Kwame Bonsu steps up training in rehab after successful surgery

Hardworking Esperance de Tunis midfielder, Kwame Bonsu has stepped up his efforts in rehab as he looks forward to making full recovery on the back of his successful knee surgery.

The Ghanaian international sustained a knee injury in training following his team’s return to training after a break from football as a result of the Coronavirus disease.

After undergoing surgery on the knee last week, it all came out successful with the medical experts ruling him out of action for at least 6 weeks.

In a short update from Esperance de Tunis on Thursday, the club has confirmed that Kwame Bonsu has started his rehabilitation work.

With determination and hard work, the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfield powerhouse is hoping to recover in time for the resumption of the football season in Tunisia in August.

Kwame Bonsu, 25, made 9 appearances for Esperance before the Tunisian top-flight league was put on hold as a precautionary measure against the spread of the Covid-19 disease.
