Michael Zorc confirms Roman Bürki will sign a new Borussia Dortmund contract

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc confirms that they’ve reached an agreement to extend the contract of 29-year-old goalkeeper Roman Bürki.

“We have reached a final agreement and will sign the contract in the next few days. I’m very happy that we will continue to have Roman in goal for us in the coming days,” said Zorc.

Kicker reported last week that Bürki, who joined the Bundesliga club in 2015, will sign a contract extension until 2023.

“I’m pleased and hope that we can find a date next week to finalise the whole thing. I feel very comfortable here, I have been through a lot with Borussia over the years and have always felt the love of the club,” added Bürki.
