Michael Zorc confirms Lucien Favre to remain Borussia Dortmund head coach

    « Back

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has confirmed Lucien Favre will continue as head coach next season with contract extension talks also set to take place.

“We will go into the next season with the same [management] line-up and want to attack once more,” said Zorc. “We have a good, trusting relationship and will conduct the talks in due course.”

Niko Kovac and Erik ten Hag had been eyed up as replacements should the Borussia hierarchy part ways in the head coach, as reported throughout the winter.
