    McCall Zerboni planning to bring her own mentality to Sky Blue – Equalizer Soccer

    The year 2019 was a wild one for McCall Zerboni. She began it rehabbing an elbow injury but with her sights set on making the United States women’s national team’s World Cup roster.

    That trip to France didn’t happen, so Zerboni focused her attention to the North Carolina Courage, who ended their season with a third National Women’s Soccer League Championship in four years, but it also signaled the end of the road for Zerboni in North Carolina.

    “There’s a time and a place and a stage in your life where you have to recognize that maybe a change is good for yourself and good for the people that you work with,” Zerboni said last week.
