    TEAM NEWS

Saints will be without Moussa Djenepo who begins a three match suspension after being sent off in the last match before the suspension of the Premier League against Newcastle United.

He looks likely to be joined on the sidelines by Shane Long who has a muscle injury and looks set to be back to face Arsenal next week.

Norwich have been dealt a triple blow as Captain Grant Hanley, Sam Byram and Christoph Zimmermann have all been ruled out for the rest of the 2019/20 season.

Marco Stiepermann is back training after testing positive for COVID-19 but due to missing several training sessions has been left out for Fridays match.

There is a return however for defender Timm Klose who hasn’t played a game since August 2019.

    THE MANAGERS

Ralph Hasenhüttl: “We have our information about the opponent. We had the position meeting in the final week and then everything got cancelled so we will use that stuff.

“We know what to expect but it’s an interesting game to play an opponent who really is looking for the last chance to stay in the league.”

Daniel Farke: “We are aware every game is important; we need to go into every game looking to win three points. It is nine finals.

“The better you start, the easier it is to achieve the points needed to stay in this fantastic league.”

    ONES TO WATCH

    Danny Ings:
Before the Premier League suspension, Ings hadn’t netted in his previous three league games and will be hoping to get back on target from the off.

The striker still sits in the top five of the Premier League scorers this season and Saints will be looking at the talisman to get their first away win since the 2-0 success at Crystal Palace at the end of January.

Todd Cantwell: The midfielder has caught the attention of many this season with six goals in his debut Premier League season.

If the Canaries hope to stay in the Premier League, they will be turning to the 22-year-old to help guide them to safety but he’ll first need to stop a run of eight league games without a goal.
