Lucien Favre to remain Borussia Dortmund head coach

    « Back

Lucien Favre will remain Borussia Dortmund head coach next season despite suggestions the Bundesliga club will part ways with their head coach, according to Bild.

In winter, Niko Kovac and Erik ten Hag had been discussed as potential successors to Favre, with sporting director Michael Zorc and CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke having a desire to win the league.

The two Dortmund bosses have however seen a positive reaction and Favre has convinced Watzke and Zorc, as well as Sebastian Kehl and Matthias Sammer.
