Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp drops big hint of transfer frustration following shock defeat to Burnley | Shoot

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp drops big hint of transfer frustration following shock defeat to Burnley, when speaking to SkySports post match.

The Reds are suffering their worst slump in form all season, as they slipped to fourth position in the Premier League, now six points off rivals and table-toppers Manchester United.

Although the club are suffering with a catalogue of injuries in the defensive positions, it’s not actually shipping goals that seems to be the problem, it’s scoring them.

The once unstoppable trio of Roberto Firmino, Mo Salah and Sadio Mane are stuggling with poor form in front of goal of late, which is resulting in a poor points tally for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Roberto Firmino has been heavily criticised for his poor from in front of goal.

With the transfer window open, many Liverpool fans are desperate for their club to bring in reinforcements as they look to retain the Premier League.

But Jurgen Klopp was very open in his post match press conference and wasn’t shy with his hints of frustration regarding his employer’s transfer policy.

Klopp said: “Of course someone else is making the decisions, it was always like this.

“If people are surprised about that I cannot change that. The situation we have is we discuss on a daily basis.

“Could we improve something or not? I then make recommendations, but I cannot spend the money. I don’t make these decisions, I never did.”

Liverpool will be desperate to bounce back with a win at Old Trafford this weekend as they clash with Manchester United yet again, this time in the FA Cup.
