Leverkusen vs Bayern Munich – Preview and betting prediction

Check out our preview and betting predictions for tonight’s DFB-Pokal Final between Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich.

The Olympiastadion in Berlin will traditionally host another DFB-Pokal final, as Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich go head-to-head for the trophy this evening.

Leverkusen are chasing their first major silverware since 1993, when they lifted the German Cup for the first and still only time in their history.

The Bavarians, on the other hand, will be looking to win this competition for record 20th time and wrap up another domestic double. It will also allow them to attack the treble when the Champions League returns next month.

    What to bet on?

    Winner – Bayern Munich

    NFL Betting

Bayern Munich started off this season on the wrong foot, but Nico Kovac’s replacement with Hansi Flick turned the tables in the club in quite an extraordinary way.

The Bavarian giants are currently on a 16-game winning run and they’ve won 20 of their last 21 outings across all competitions.

They are probably playing the best football in Europe and we highly doubt that Leverkusen have a fair chance in tonight’s German Cup final.

    Goals – Over 3,50

Six of the last seven meetings between Leverkusen and Bayern Munich saw at least four goals in total, with Die Werkself’s 2-1 victory at the Allianz Arena earlier this season being the only exception.

And we know that this is a final and the teams usually play cautious football there, but check this out – 60% of the DFB-Pokal finals in the 2010s decade went over the line of 3,50 goals.

If this was enough to convince you, please have a look at the odds on oddschecker.com for this game.

Handicap – Draw (Bayer Leverkusen +2)

If you are eager to take a risk, our suggestion for you is the Handicap – Draw (Bayer Leverkusen +2) bet.

It means that Bayern Munich will win the game by a two-goal margin. The result doesn’t matter as long as the Bavarians win by two goals, which was the case in four of their last five wins over Leverkusen.
