Kysre Gondrezick still ‘missing’ after alleged assault by boyfriend Kevin Porter Jr.

We haven’t heard much from WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick since she was taken to hospital after she was allegedly assaulted by NBA player Kevin Porter Jr.

Porter was arrested at around 6:30 after he allegedly attacked her in a New York City hotel room on September 11. Sources said that he allegedly hit Gondrezick multiple times and placed his hands around her neck.

When officers arrived, they found her with a cut on her face and suffering from neck pain. Prosecutors say that the attack left her with a fractured vertebra and a deep cut above her right eye.

    Gondrezick since the attack

Since the attack, Gondrezick has kept a low profile. The only news on the incident has come via her attorney, Robert Hantman, who spoke to The Post days after the alleged incident.

“Ms. Gondrezick wants to express her deep appreciation for the public’s support and prayers,” he told the outlet.

“In regards to our client, much that has been written in the press attributing statements to her are misleading and inaccurate. She has not granted nor released any statements on her own volition.

“She asks everyone to respect her privacy and avoid speculation as to what occurred and refrain from disclosing any misleading statements as to Mr. Porter.

“She asks that the press and all officials refrain from any judgment and speculation on this matter which will be rectified properly and with integrity. Thank you!”

The statement asked that everyone respect Gondrezick‘s privacy, with the 26-year-old opting to stay out of the limelight since then.

She hasn’t posted anything on her social media accounts since then, and she also hasn’t deleted any of the X (Twitter) posts that include Porter.

As for Porter, the Houston Rockets have told him that he cannot be with the team in any capacity following his domestic violence arrest.

The allegations against him are deeply troubling,” Rockets general manager Rafael Stone said at the team’s media day on Monday. “Going back a few weeks, as soon as I heard the allegations, I informed his representatives that he could not be part of the Houston Rockets.

“They understood, and he has not been with the team or around the team or had any interaction with the team since that time and will not be at media day today or in training camp.”
