Ghanaian forward Kwasi Okyere sent out a powerful message of solidarity towards those protesting against the killing of George Floyd by American police, after scoring against SC Preußen Münster in the German third-tier league on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old bagged a brace as Bayern Munich II came from behind to beat SC Preußen Münster 3-2 at the Grünwalder Stadion.
Preußen Münster took an early lead in the 1st minute through Heinz Morschel before Okyere bagged the equaliser for the young Bavarians in the 4th minute.
Oliver Batista Meier gave Bayern a 2-1 lead in the 18th minute but
Heinz Morschel scored his brace in the 37th minute to make it 2-2 heading into the first half.
The Ghanaian international snatched the match-winner for the young Bavarians with a thunderbolt strike on the 88th minute.
He lasted the entire duration of the game with a splendid performance.
Okyere Wriedt has made 28 appearances and scored an incredible 22 goals for FC Bayern Munich II this season.
He is expected to leave at the end of the season after signing a pre-contract with Dutch side Willem II.
