KP Boateng features for Besiktas in 3-0 home win against Konyaspor

Having recovered from his injury, Kevin-Prince Boateng has today featured for Besiktas in their 3-0 home win against Konyaspor.

The two clubs locked horns at the Vodafone Park this evening to fight for crucial 3 points in the Turkish Super Lig in what is a Matchday 29 encounter.

On the matchday, a good start to the game saw Burak Yilmaz scoring on the 40th minute to hand Besiktas the lead. 5 minutes later, the attacker who netted the opener assisted Abdoulay Diaby for the home team’s second goal.

Besiktas returned from the break and immediately finished off Konyaspor by scoring the third goal. This time around it was Jeremain Lens who was assisted by Burak Yilmaz on the 52nd minute.

On the 70th minute, fit-again KP Boateng was introduced into the game as he replaced winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou.

This is the 9th appearance of the on-loan Fiorentina forward since joining the Turkish giants in January. He has 2 goals to his name and could still be signed permanently in the summer transfer window.
