Jude Bellingham rejects offers from Manchester United & Chelsea in favour of Borussia Dortmund

    « Back

Birmingham City midfielder Jude Bellingham has rejected offers from Premier League duo Manchester United and Chelsea and will sign for Borussia Dortmund, according to Ruhr Nachrichten.

The Bundesliga club will pay a compensation fee around €20 million and is expected to join Borussia Dortmund in the coming days.

Bellingham and his father made a commitment to join Borussia Dortmund, despite being courted by several clubs. There’s a greater chance that the 16-year-old would play first team football in Germany and so it suits his development.

The youngster has played 33 Championship games for Birmingham City and has represented England at youth level.
