Manchester City do retain an interest in Wolves left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri, according to the Daily Express journalist Ryan Taylor.
The Frenchman is also believed to be on Chelsea’s radar but, with Thomas Tuchel’s side now looking favourites to sign Brighton’s Marc Cucurella, they are unlikely to make a bid for Ait-Nouri, so City could have a clear path to secure the Wolves star’s signature:

Taylor does emphasise that Wolves are not interested in selling Ait-Nouri so we shall have to wait and see whether the Citizens think a deal for the fullback is realistic.
There are other options being looked at. If reports from Belgium are to be believed, the club are interested in signing Anderlecht wingback Sergio Gomez.
Stuttgart’s Borna Sosa, Borussia Dortmund’s Raphael Guerreiro and Benfica’s Alejandro Grimaldo have all also been identified as potential candidates. At the moment, though, it isn’t clear if Ait-Nouri is just one of the names under consideration or if he is the main target.
