But eagle-eyed fans looked at camera roll which showed at the bottom of the now-deleted image and showed the sensitive content.
Barnes later apologised, writing: “I have to apologise for any offence caused as I posted a Donald trump picture sent to me by a friend.. on the camera roll under was a video of pornography.. I wasn’t aware that it was there and apologise once again for any offence caused.”

While the picture was still on Twitter, a follower suggested that Barnes may want to crop the image but the former England man admitted he does not know how to do so.
Explaining his mistake, Barnes wrote: “Don’t know how to do that… I’m afraid to press buttons on this phone.. I’m 56 yrs old, so happy to just be able to get one or 2 words out on twitter that people understand!!”
Barnes also joked that the person in the sensitive image was not former Liverpool teammate Michael Owen, adding: “Ps it wasn’t michael owen”.
