Joao Palhinha about to join Bayern Munich from Fulham

    Bayern Munich are on the verge of completing a deal with Fulham for midfielder Joao Palhinha in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Palhinha, who played for Portugal at the UEFA Euro 2024 finals in Germany, has already completed his medical at Bayern and will sign his contract with the Bundesliga club on Wednesday.

    Romano wrote on X: “João Palhinha has already completed his medical as new Bayern player, contract until June 2028 to be signed today in Munich.

    “Fulham will receive fee in the region of €50m plus add-ons. Here we go, confirmed.”

    Palhinha has been on the books of Fulham since 2022 when he joined from Sporting Lisbon. The 29-year-old Portugal international defensive midfielder has scored seven goals and given one assist in 68 appearances in the Premier League for the Cottagers so far in his career.
