Ibrahimovic hoping to return in time to face Juventus

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is hoping to recover just in time from his injury to feature against Juventus when Milan play them on the 7th of July.

It was initially feared Ibrahimovic could be out for the season but it turned out to be no more than a calf injury.

Nevertheless, AC Milan are set to lose their star striker for several weeks due to this injury and he will surely miss their clash against Lecce when the Serie A restarts.

Ibrahimovic has always boasted about his incredible fitness and he’ll be hoping he can prove just that once again.

It would now appear the big Swede has a ‘big mission’ in mind and has already set his heart on a likely date to return to the pitch.

As per Tuttosport, Ibrahimovic wants to be fit just in time for the big one. Milan face Juventus on the 7th of July and the 38-year-old wants to be available to play on that occasion.
