I want to be one of the best midfielders in Israeli league – Cletus Nombil

    Hapoel Jerusalem midfielder Cletus Nombil has set his sights on finishing the upcoming season as one of the best midfielders in the Israeli Premier League.

    The enterprising midfielder has been outstanding since joining the club from Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC last year.

    He had descent 2020/21 season helping the club secure qualification to the Israeli top-flight.

    Speaking ahead of the start of the new season, the 20-year-old insisted he wants to be named among the best midfielders in Israeli in the upcoming season.

    “Life in Israel has been good and this season am looking forward to do my maximum best for the club and am hoping to play more games”

    “I’m also hoping to be one of the best midfielders in the league and have some more goals and assists” he told

    The Israeli top-flight has been set for August 28 with Hapoel Jerusalem taking on Hapoel Nof HaGalil.
