Pep Guardiola insists the focus of the upcoming clash between Manchester City and Arsenal must remain on the players.
Manchester City will welcome Arsenal on their return to the Premier League on Wednesday night.
Arsenal, who currently sit at ninth position with 40 points from 28 games will be pushing for attaining a Europa League finish, and even possibly a Champions League finish.
Man City, although sitting on second spot with 57 points from 28 games, have little to fight for having fallen much behind Liverpool in the title race.
The match will also see Pep Guardiola go against his former assistant Mikel Arteta who quit City to take up the managerial role at the Emirates back in December, last year.
“I’m so excited to see him, one of the nicest people I ever met. It was a joy for me and for all of us to work with him. I’m looking forward to seeing him,” Guardiola told in a press conference, according to Football London.
“This game belongs to the players, they make the difference.
“He was an incredibly important part of our success, he helped us to be who were and who we are. We are delighted he will come back, especially if he is happy there.”
