Manchester United have already agreed on a deal in place to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa. This is according to Tim Sherwood.
Jack Grealish is on his way to Old Trafford this summer, as per Tim Sherwood.
The Villa captain has been heavily tipped to make a big move this summer.
Despite his side’s poor showing in the Premier League, Grealish has impressed individually for Villa and has continued to receive praise from a number of pundits.
Bar his incident off the pitch during lock-down, the 24-year-old has shown quality on the pitch and it’s no surprise the top guns would want to land the midfielder.
Over the past few weeks, Manchester United have been the most prominently linked side in the rumors surrounding Grealish.
And former Villa manager Tim Sherwood has now claimed the 24-year-old has already agreed to join the Red Devils this summer.
“I think Jack Grealish is a deal which is already done,” Sherwood told Premier League Productions as quoted by the Express.
“He’s a player that they [Manchester United] need. I honestly believe there’s only one club for Jack Grealish.”
Pushed further on his claim, Sherwood said it was inevitable that Grealish would move to the Theatre of Dreams.
“I don’t think he can stay at Aston Villa, he needs to progress his career. I think he signs for Manchester United.”
Aston Villa look like they would get relegated from the Premier League and it’s only a matter of time before Grealish departs for greener pastures.
