Ghana FA agrees deal to make Malta Guinness official sponsor for Women’s Premier League

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has agreed a deal with Ghana Breweries Limited to make Malta Guinness the official sponsor of the Ghana Women’s Premier League.

The various leagues in the country including the women’s top-flight league have been without sponsors, particularly headline sponsors for a very long time.

Ahead of the start of the 2022/23 football season, the football association has managed to secure sponsorships for the various leagues.

Today, sources have confirmed that a deal has been reached to make Malta Guinness the official headline sponsor for the Women’s Premier League.

The Ghana FA will on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, hold an event at its secretariat in Accra to make the deal official.

Meanwhile, another agreement has been reached to make betPawa the headline sponsor of the Ghana Premier League for the next two years.

Details of that deal will also be disclosed by the GFA tomorrow.
