Ghana defender Alexander Dijku confirms he will stay at Strasbourg next season

    Ghana defender Alexander Dijku has confirmed he will be staying at Strasbourg next season.

    The 26-year-old who joined the club in the summer of 2019 has been instrumental for the French club having played 24 times for the team in Ligue 1 this season.

    He won the clubs player of the month for February due to his outstanding performance.

    According to Dijku, they are yet to enter into negotiation over contract extension but said he will be at the club next season.

    “Yes, I will still be in Racing next season. I answer you without hesitation. I am ambitious in an ambitious club. I want to eat again at the European Cup in the medium term and I think I can achieve it with the club. An extension here? We haven’t spoken yet but I still have time by 2022”

    Dijku’s contract with the Blue and Whites will elapsed in 2022.
