The Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Mr. Kudjoe Fianoo has backed a proposal from Bechem United President Kingsley Owusu Achiaw seeking for a quarterly review of football in the country.
The Bechem United owner, popularly known as Agama in an interview with Happy FM has proposed that a committee should be set up to review the sport in the country on a quarterly basis to discuss key issues that will help in the development of the game.
Speaking in a subsequent interview with the same station, Kudjoe Fianoo says his outlet is in full support of the idea.
“I support what Agama said. The players must also be included in this stakeholders meeting. From our side GHALCA we are ready”, the footballer administrator said.
Meanwhile, the national treasure for the Referee’s Association of Ghana (RAG), referee Thomas Nunoo has also thrown his weight and that of the body he belongs to to the idea by the Bechem United president.
“I think it’s a good idea by Agama, anything that will bring about development in our football should be supported”, he said in an interview with Happy Weekend Sports.
