Former FC Dallas Homegrown Chris Richards scores game-winner for Bayern Munich II

Alphonso Davies has (rightfully) been garnering most of the headlines in recent days for his standout play for Bayern Munich, but another former MLS Homegrown also made his mark in the German giants’ system this week.

FC Dallas academy product Chris Richards, who currently suits up for Bayern Munich II in the 3. Liga bagged a dramatic game-winning goal in his club’s match against FC Ingolstadt 04 on Saturday, heading home the decisive goal in the 89th minute to deliver a 3-2 victory. Give it a watch below.

Richards, 20, came up through FC Dallas’ youth system before he was sold to Bayern in January 2019.
