Football takes to social media to join the fight against racism

Football clubs, players, and organizations around the world are uniting in their support of American protests against racism.

Riots are currently taking place in America following the murder of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer. It appears to have struck a chord with football and its own fight against racism.

Football clubs, players, and organizations appear to be backing the demand for justice and racial equality that Americans are crying out for.

Football itself has endured a torrid time this season as racism reared its ugly head early on in a very public manner.

Tammy Abrahams, Marcus Rashofrd, and Paul Pogba to name but a few were targeted.

It now appears that football is standing with others who fight a similar fight.
