Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus has revealed that Bayern Munich were interested in signing the midfielder as a youth player, before he joined 1860 Munich.
“When I agreed to play for the U11’s at Die Löwen, Bayern asked me a week later. But I had given my word together with my parents at 1860 and I wanted to keep that,” Neuhaus told Bild.
“Bayern is a large club with world class players but I currently have a long term contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach and I’m very happy here.”
